Thank you to everyone for the beautiful Pentecost service on Sunday 28th May, whereby the wonderful message of Christ’s love was heard in English, German, Tok Pisin and Koine Greek! Oscar was our lector, who read verses from the Bible Readings in English. Michael then read verses in German. On Sunday 14th May (Mother’s Day), we enjoyed a splendid service and ceremony when Bishop Mark Vainikka officiated the Rite of Regularisation for Pastor Chris. Bishop Mark preached the Sermon, linking Mother’s Day and mother-love and mother nurturing, to our mother Church – it was excellently written and spoken by Bishop Mark. A celebratory morning tea followed with cake, speeches and a touch of champagne in honour of Pastor Chris’s regularisation and Mother’s Day.
