On Sunday 14th May (Mother’s Day), we enjoyed a splendid service and ceremony when Bishop Mark Vainikka officiated the Rite of Regularisation for Pastor Chris. Bishop Mark preached the Sermon, linking Mother’s Day and mother-love and mother nurturing, to our mother Church – it was excellently written and spoken by Bishop Mark. A celebratory morning tea followed with cake, speeches and a touch of champagne in honour of Pastor Chris’s regularisation and Mother’s Day.
