Nazareth Lutheran Church South Brisbane Qld
Where Love Comes to Life
Our Annual Longest Lutheran Lunch is being tweaked in 2026 –
This year, we’re holding it at Nazareth Hall and in our Courtyard – with everyone invited to bring a plate to share.
The Longest Lutheran Lunch has a German theme, to celebrate the birth of the Lutheran Church that started in Germany, on 31st October.
We will provide German Wurst on the BBQ (and sauerkraut!) and if anyone is brave enough, we’d love to see some home made large pretzels and other German favourites.
On this day, we will not have an 8:30am Divine Service. Instead, our service will be at 10:30am, with lunch to follow.
We’ll set up after our our service, around 11:30-12:00, and the event will go until approximately 2pm or 2:30pm.
We’ll provide some beer and red wine but essentially it’s a BYO food and refreshments to share.
We encourage everyone attending – men, women, young and old, to help in any way you can, with our setup and clean up after – many hands make light work 🙂 If movement is difficult for you, your smile and presence is your gift to us.
More details and RSVP info to come.
